Zebras coach, David Bright will today name his squad that will face Angola in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on September 9 in Luanda. The game assumed new significance after the Zebras stuttered in their first qualifier, going down 1-0 to Mauritania at the Francistown Sports Complex in June last year.

It proved to be former coach, Peter Butler’s last game in charge as he quit shortly after slating the Botswana Football Association (BFA) for shoddy preparations.

Bright is expected to name a 30-member squad, which will have a number of South African based players.  Thatayaone Kgosimore, Kabelo Seakanyeng, Onkabetse Makgantai and Lesenya Ramoraka all joined Mpho Kgaswane, Mogakolodi Ngele, Kabelo Dambe and Thabang Sesinyi in South Africa and are all expected to make Bright’s squad. Sesinyi has however, dropped to the second tier after Platinum Stars was relegated and then sold.
