Athletics is facing a dilemma after three top officials quit

The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has been left in a difficult position after the weekend resignations of three members of the executive committee.

The president, Moses Bantsi, his vice Ronald Masalila and secretary general, Kebaitse Legojane quit in a huff at the association’s annual general meeting on Saturday.

The remaining executive members are having sleepless nights as they are trying to find ways to fill the vacant positions. BAA treasurer, Brian Mosweu told Mmegi Sport yesterday that their constitution is silent on what should be done in such instances. He said the committee met yesterday to map way forward.
