On 2nd August 2022, the United States of America House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi arrived in Taiwan for an official visit, which in essence was a provocative move on the world’s geopolitical chessboard.

The visit has escalated tensions between China and the USA. This is a provocative and controversial trip that has also sparked concern among some allies of the USA who are rightly worried that this act of unwarranted provocation has the potential to trigger a crisis between the US and China.
