In an accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon in Sikwane village during a wedding ceremony, a 52-year-old man was hit by a reversing car driven by a 42-year-old woman he was directing and sustained a fractured left leg.
In another accident that occurred at around 10pm, another man was hit by a car while trying to cross the road near Engen Filling Station along Tlokweng-Zeerust Road. Investigating the accidents, deputy divisional traffic officer for South Central, Senior Superintendent Boiki Mojalemotho said both pedestrians are still hospitalised.
