Thugs rob house party guests at knifepoint in Block 7

A group of knife-wielding thugs stormed a house party in Block 7, Gaborone on Saturday evening, threatening guests with machetes and knives before making off with seven mobile phones.

The incident was confirmed by No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae, who said the robbery took place around 6:30pm.

“It is alleged that a group of about six young men pounced on attendees at the party, ordered them to lie down whilst threatening them with machetes and knives, and demanded their phones before fleeing the scene,” he said.
