Mogoditshane police have arrested a 33-year-old woman for allegedly raping her 17-year-old stepson in Tsolamosese, Mogoditshane.

The stepmother was arrested on Saturday after the victim reported the sexual assault to his teachers on Friday, and they (teachers) reported the matter to the police. Investigating the matter, No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako said the victim has since disclosed that his stepmother has been sexually assaulting him since last Wednesday.

Sebako said the victim lives with his father, his younger siblings, and their stepmother in Tsolamosese. Narrating what transpired, the senior police officer said the victim disclosed that the sexual assault started last Wednesday night when he was sleeping with his younger siblings in their bedroom, and his stepmother summoned him to her bedroom.
