Stepmother did not confess to murder

Contrary to earlier reports, Gaofenngwe Selaolo, the woman who was arraigned for abducting her stepson, did not lead the police to the body of the deceased 11-year old. The police managed to exhume the body of the young boy who had been missing since March 2.

Broadhurst Police Station commander, Bonosi Molapisi, told Mmegi that, “We managed to exhume the body yesterday (Tuesday). The family was involved and they came to identify the body”.

The station commander explained that to locate the body, “we were following leads, the woman, did not confess anything, there was no confession. Our intelligence lead us to the place where we had reason to believe that the body was buried”.
