Six year jail term for 68-year old hardened criminal

FRANCISTOWN: A 68-year old Zimbabwean man Musa Dlomo, who was described as a hardcore criminal in court, has been slapped with a six-year jail term for stealing a Toyota truck.

The accused was given a six-year sentence after being found guilty of stealing a car belonging to Minetech PTY/LTD on August 9 last year.

Passing sentence, Principal Magistrate Dumisani Basupi said that the accused’s mitigation does not favour him at all.
