Shooting accused changes plea to not guilty

FRANCISTOWN: In a new twist, a Francistown City Council (FCC) driver has changed his initial guilty plea to not guilty on a charge of shooting another person.

When he appeared previously, an unrepresented Mazile had pleaded guilty but after legal advice from his newly engaged attorney Musa Solomon, he changed his mind.

But yesterday Mazile Mazile, 56, pleaded not guilty before Principal Magistrate Dumisani Basupi to shooting Patience Sibanda in the head at Monarch location on May 29, 2013.
