Serowe Spar catches fire

Superintendent Paul Molapisi of Serowe Police Station confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that they received a report about a fire that broke out at the supermarket on Monday evening.According to Molapisi the watchman noticed the fire at the back of the supermarket before it could do more damage.
Molapisi says the fire was controlled early, as the supermarket was not yet closed. "It is still early for us to say what the cause of the fire was as the investigating team have not yet given me a report," said Molapisi. The fire is said to have started in the kitchen section but it did not cause any injuries nor major damage.The supermarket is reported to have been closed for a day in order to repair the portion that was damaged by the fire. The very same supermarket burnt down in 2005 when it was still located at Serowe main mall.
While the minister is of the view that the proposal would have significant positive economic impact, the entertainment industry players believe otherwise.
