Security organs counter power cuts #PowerCrisis

The same way as other businesses and social activities, the country’s strategic security organs have not escaped the brunt of frequent and erratic power cuts that are currently bedevilling the nation, although with limited damage.

They are now relying on back up generators for most of their operations like satellite communication and monitoring, radio communication and radar monitoring. 

Botswana Prisons spokesperson, Senior Superintendent Wamorena Ramolefe told Mmegi that they are affected on the administrative part like any other government department but their operations are not seriously impacted.
