The quest for this year's male ambassador for the bespoke suit label, KeNo Custom Suits, has been set into motion. Titled Face of KeNo Men 2023, the competition was formally launched yesterday (Tuesday) during a press briefing in Gaborone.

Addressing the attendees at the launch, Thobo Kerekang, one of the founders of KeNo Custom Suits, articulated their pursuit of a fashion-forward gentleman with an ardent appreciation for style to embody the brand's essence. He expounded that KeNo Custom Suits epitomises refinement and profound aesthetic appeal. "As such, the idea behind the campaign is to take the brand to the people by allowing every Motswana to participate in the competition. With the Face of KeNo competition we want an average Motswana to be involved. We targeted men when we started the line in 2014 but ladies also took keen interest hence why in 2021 we had the Face of KeNo Women competition and now we doing it for men," remarked Kerekang. Karabo Letsholo from VYB Marketing, the agency overseeing KeNo Custom Suits' digital marketing, outlined the competition's tripartite structure. The initial phase will span from August 15 to September 19. Subsequently, the second stage, set for September 19 to 26, entails the shortlisting of the Top 30 contenders. Following this, the contestants will be narrowed down to the Top 10, with the ultimate victor announced during the grand finale scheduled for October 6. Letsholo affirmed that an expert panel of adjudicators will preside over the selection process throughout all stages. KeNo Custom Suits was established in 2014 by local entrepreneurs Kerekang and Donald Nnoto, driven by the singular purpose of introducing refined, individually tailored suits to the domestic fashion landscape. The brand's trajectory has expanded, encompassing additional offerings such as activewear, premium water, and KeNo fragrances.
