Police have issued a warning over drink spiking as the festive season is fast approaching.

This follows an incident in which a 28-year-old woman of Serorome ward in Palapye opened a rape case on Saturday after she woke up next to a man but could not recollect events from the previous night.

No 2 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said police tried to question the victim about events of the previous night but she appeared clueless.
