PMH opens first MDT clinic

“In order to improve health of women diagnosed with cancer in Botswana, Princess Marina Hospital Oncology and Obstetrics & Gynecology Departments have established the first MDT clinic in Botswana,” he stated.

He said the MDT clinic will be conducted every Wednesday starting from today (May 20, 2015) where all gynecological malignancies would be seen initially by a team of gynecologists, oncologists, pathologists, palliative care specialists, radiologists, social workers and other relevant disciplines at one sitting.
