NDB House worker dies after fall

The man who fell from the fourth floor of Development House in Gaborone on Tuesday has died from his injuries. National Development Bank (NDB) spokesperson, Boipuso Nyatshane said yesterday that they had received word that the man succumbed to injuries he sustained in the fall. Development House, in the Main Mall, is the NDB’s headquarters.

“The man was employed by a company we had contracted to install bird deterrent systems at the top of the building,” Nyatshane told Mmegi late afternoon.

“For now, we believe the incident was an accident but investigations are going on. After his fall, he was quickly rushed to Princess Marina Hospital where we were updated on his condition between 2-3pm. In the evening, we were informed that he had passed away,” he said.
