Moremi fights for inheritance

Chief’s Island, which stretches 70 kilometres long and 15 kilometres wide, is so named (Moremi) because it was once the sole hunting preserve of Kgosi Mathiba, Kgosi Tawana II’s forefather.
Tawana explained that the land is his inheritance and he is determined to fight for it along with the other parts of the reserve owned by the community.
