More lives lost to Mahalapye blackspot

PALAPYE: Police in Mahalapye have warned motorists to exercise utmost care around a stretch of the highway near the village, as data emerges that thus far this year, 31 people have died in road traffic accidents near the blackspot.

The fatalities are an increase from 28 recorded for the same period last year.

In the latest incident, four people lost their lives on Saturday near Palla Road in a horrific accident involving a Nissan March and a bus.
