A 38-year-old man met a tragic end on Saturday night in Lenganeng ward, Tlokweng, after being fatally stabbed during a misunderstanding.

The victim had left his two friends inside the car to purchase ice blocks at a filling station. Shortly after, they witnessed him engaged in an argument with two other men, resulting in one of them fatally stabbing him. Tlokweng Police Station commander, Superintendent Unoziba Rari, reported that the police were notified around 11pm of the murder incident.

Regarding the cause of the fight, Rari mentioned that the deceased's friends had parked their car metres away from where the incident occurred and thus couldn't discern the nature of the argument.
