Limkokwing caps 800 graduates

Limkokwing University of Creative Technology Botswana has capped just over 800 graduates in a graduation ceremony held under the theme ‘Designing The Future’ at the institution campus’ Hall of Fame in Gaborone.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony the assistant minister of Education and Skills Development, Aubrey Lesaso said implored the graduates to use the skills and knowledge acquired from the learning institution.

He said Limkokwing University is a leader in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry and the class of 2022 should be inspired by trailblazers in the working industry while assisting the government to create employment. “The Graduating Class of 2022, you the creative, the entrepreneurial-minded, the innovative and the market ready can transform the country to a high-income status which is anchored on the transformation from a resource-based to a knowledge-based economy. The transformation to a high-income status entails accurately putting together pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, such as infrastructure, doing business and competitiveness, human capital, ICT infrastructure and access.”
