Cricket team targets progress in World Cup qualifiers

The men's cricket team will go into battle against six other nations in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier A, which Gaborone hosts starting tomorrow (Saturday). Botswana will battle it out against Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Kenya, Mali, Rwanda, and Sierra Leone with two spots at stake for the next stage of the Africa qualifiers.

Rwanda and Cameroon get the ball rolling with the first fixture of the tournament at 9:30am at the Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) Oval A.

The hosts will be in action later in the day at 1:50pm against Sierra Leone as they get their campaign off the ground.
