Lentsweletau-Mmopane constituency administration officer, Chomie Letlole might land himself in hot water after he was recorded addressing a political gathering. Letlole could be charged with illegal political activism while employed under the Public Service Act (PSA).

This comes just a few months after former Botswana National Front Youth League (BNFYL) president, Khumoekae Richard was fired for meddling in politics while employed as the Gaborone Central Constituency administration officer.  A cellphone video recording shows Letlole addressing youth members at the Tonota Branch Youth Wing Elective Congress on January 14, 2017. Dressed in BDP regalia, Letlole is seen in the video encouraging the BDP youth to work hard in fighting for positions of power as well as attracting young people from the opposition.

Contacted for comment, Letlole hastily dismissed the allegations.
