Kweneng Land Board ousted from Kgang's eviction case

The Kweneng Land Board has been ousted from the land eviction case involving its chairperson, Kgang Kgang. Gaborone High Court Judge Michael Motlhabi rejected the Land Board's bid on Friday to be part of the case where its chairperson faces a potential eviction from Boitumelo Setlhabi and four others claiming ownership of a ploughing field in Mmokolodi.

The Land Board remained neutral initially, but as the dispute over the land escalated, it sought to be joined in the proceedings.

However, Justice Motlhabi dismissed the application, stating that the Land Board failed to specify how it would be prejudiced by the court's orders in the eviction proceedings.
