JCE results a few days away - BEC

The Junior Certificate Examinations (JCE) results will be released early next week at the latest. Although she was reluctant to name a specific date, executive secretary of the Botswana Examinations Council (BEC)

Dr. Serara Moahi told journalists at a media briefing yesterday that the results will be released either this weekend or early next week.

Like the Primary School Leaving Examinations (PSLE) results, the release of the JCE results was delayed due to challenges the BEC had with the new Botswana National Examinations Processing System (BNEPS), which was implemented for the first time last year. Moahi revealed that marking for the JCE was completed in the second week of December. She added that the processing of results started then and continued over the festive holidays, and is expected to be completed end of this week.
