First exporters and manufactures exhibition on the cards

The Botswana Exporters and Manufacturers Association (BEMA) will host a two-day exposition where local entrepreneurs will sell their products and services.

BEMA secretary, Sethembile Dube has said the inaugural exhibition at Boipuso Hall in Fairgrounds on June 21-22 is meant to expose exporting and manufacturing companies in Botswana to the local market and to promote economic diversity and procure local goods and services.She said that they expect local and regional manufacturers and exporters to take part in the exposition.

She said that there are still more stalls available for interested manufactures and exporters.BEMA is expecting exporters and manufactures from Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and South Africa to participate in the exposition. Dube said that this could help local exporters and manufactures network and exchange ideas with those who come from neighbouring countries.
