Class of 1993 traced their steps back to Molepolole’s Tshegetsang Junior Secondary School (JSS) recently with donations of 188 Mathematical instruments.

The 32 former students, whose entire secondary school lives were at Molepolole-based secondary institution, donated 188 mathematical instruments to the school that nurtured their early education. The chairperson of Class of 1993 Group, Sandy Mphuting told MmegiOnline that the recipients of these mathematical instruments will be the less privileged learners.

“We know that Junior Certificate Examinations (JCE) have commenced and during our times there were learners who would seat for their final examinations without mathematical instruments, something that contributed to their lower marks hence the decision to raise funds towards this donation. That is why we saw it fit to return and give to the needy students in a school that nurtured us. We know their needs because these students are our children and we live in the same locality,” Mphuting said.
