Dow takes over Education, Masisi leaves

President Ian Khama has performed his first ever surgery on his cabinet since its appointment in November 2014, elevating Unity Dow as full minister of Education and Skills Development (MoESD).

Serowe North MP, Kgotla Autlwetse has been appointed assistant MoESD. The Vice President Mokgweetsi Masisi who has been at the helm of MoESD in joint venture with Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, since April last year, will now focus on the Vice Presidency.

Meanwhile, Kanye North Patrick Ralotsia is acting minister of Agriculture, assisted by Tonota North MP Fidelis Molao. The appointments are are effective from March 1.
