Criminals target Bobirwa businesses

BOBONONG: Rampant crimes targeting businesses in the Bobirwa area has forced police to organise a workshop to help those affected address the situation.

Bobonong Police Station commander superintendent Patrick Mbikiwa in an interview said they have organised a one day business community workshop that will be held in Bobonong under the theme "Building effective partnership through community policing for a safe and secure nation by 2016."

He said they have been forced by the escalating number in business crimes in their policing area to organise such a workshop and that they want to urge members of the business community to ensure security of their premises. "We encourage business owners to at least fence their businesses and hire security companies to guard their property," he advised.
