A 31-year-old combi driver is recovering at Bokamoso Private Hospital after sustaining a fractured leg following a serious road accident that occurred in the early hours of Saturday along the Metsimotlhabe–Kopong road.

The collision happened at the Gakuto turn-off around 2:45am when a VW Golf that was coming from the village and turning towards Metsimotlhabe direction, collided with the oncoming combi.

According to No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Obusitswe Lokae, preliminary investigations suggest that the 31-year-old driver of the VW Golf may have failed to clear the road properly before making the turn.
