To whom should the estate of an unmarried man who leaves behind children devolve? The Court of Appeal (CoA) in Gaborone emphatically answered this question on Thursday when it ruled in favour of a deceased father’s children.

Shortly after the man’s death, his siblings took over his property and denied his children any right to it.
