BQA intends to invade more stakeholders to improve quality of higher education

The Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) and Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC) yesterday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in respect to regulation of education and training in the health sector.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, BQA chief executive officer (CEO)Abel Modungwa said the main objective of the MoU is to promote harmony between the two sectors of education and health.

“BQA was established to quality-assure education and training. This is quite a broad task that can only be fully achieved through engagement of stakeholders such as professional bodies and other regulatory bodies, here and abroad,” he said.
