BDP GC congress rejects motion suspending Bulela-Ditswe

The motion, quickly proving controversial, aimed to suspend primary elections in the area for the upcoming 2024 General Election. It was brought forward during the regional congress held at Rainbow High School last Saturday.

Amongst the five constituencies, three in Gaborone shot down the motion, effectively defeating the other two. The Gaborone region encompasses Gaborone North, Gaborone Bonnington South, Gaborone South, Gaborone Bonnington North and Gaborone Central constituencies.
