Botswana Building Society (“BBS”) is pleased that there has been a noticeable improvement in the Standard Seven results of Letswai Primary School located in Zutshwa, Kgalagadi North, from a pass rate of 7 percent in 2012 to 30 percent in 2013.

In a press statement issued this week, the bank said while 30 percent is below the marginal pass grade, in the context of Letswai Primary School it is a confidence boosting mark given the multiple challenges that the school faces because of its remoteness.

BBS built a fully equipped library worth over P1.2m for Letswai Primary School which was handed over to the Zutshwa community in 2013 by Vice President Dr Ponatshego Kedikilwe. BBS committed that it would maintain a keen interest in the school to help it improve its performance.
