BA ISAGO University has entered into a five-year partnership with two private firms

BA ISAGO University has entered into a five-year partnership with two private firms to train local citizens for participation in Botswana's emerging oil and gas sector.

The university signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Seth Resources Petroleum and eMangweni Business Solutions to implement the Botswana Youth and Citizen Oil and Gas Entrepreneurship Training Programme, which is scheduled to commence in June 2026.

The agreement brings together academic and industry players to develop curriculum and deliver training covering upstream, midstream and downstream operations, regulatory compliance, pricing mechanisms, LPG operations and fuel retail models.
