BNSC’s grant cut by P10m

The Botswana National Sport Commission’s (BNSC) annual grant is down by P10 million this year, as funding for affiliates is expected to take a knock. From the affiliates, the Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) is feeling the pinch over declining funding after receiving only P500,000.

Critically, BOKA had already received just over P436,000 in advance, which leaves the association with a balance of just above P63,000.

The karate body is in tier two of the BNSC's funding system.
