Local production houses have been invited to put in pitches to produce Botswana's version of Dstv's popular dating show, Date My Family.
The tv show beamed on Zambezi Magic, or channel 160, helps singletons find love by sending them on dates with their potential partner’s family, according to Mzanzi Magic.
Now Zambezi Magic, which offers a mix of locally produced content for six markets in Southern Africa is calling all well established production houses in Botswana with the capability to produce the first season of the hit reality TV show Date My Family Botswana.
“Batswana are required to hurry up and enter their company to be short-listed. The closing date for this great opportunity is on February 28, 2019 and they are required and to apply and visit the Zambezi Magic website” said Zambezi Magic.
Date My Family South Africa is already a hit on Msanzi Magic’s channel 161.
Many people have found their lifetime partners through this show but others were not so lucky.
The Date My Family crew takes their bachelors or bachelorettes to share a meal with three different families while the other contestant watches how everything unfolds from a monitor in a separate room.
The bachelors or bachelorettes later chooses which family they would like to date depending on how well their families represented them.
