In an interview with Showbiz, T.S Dope said it took a month and a half to finish the single. “It’s my first radio single and with it I wanted to show lyricism and storytelling in my work,” he said. He said with his upcoming EP people should listen to the stories that he tells and the pictures that he paints through his music.
The 20-year-old hip hop musician said he does not do motswako as most local rappers do but his lyrics are in English because he wants to reach a wider audience. “I am hoping to be recognised as one of the best,” he said. T.S Dope said after releasing the full EP people should recognise him as one of the best.
