Taste of Africa beefs up line-up

It is all systems go for the greatly awaited local new cultural event dubbed Taste of Africa billed for April 30, 2022 at the Royal Aria Stadium in Tlokweng after the organisers announced the final line-up for festival.

Just to spice and shake things up, the organisers say they have planned to have a surprise headliner for the event to be announced in due course. In an interview with the event co-founder, Mercy Ramojela, she said they have a number of both local and international artistes lined up to entertain revellers.

The local acts include Maxy Khoisan, Culture Spears, Dilo Makwati, Motlha, Nono, Ancestral Rituals, DJ Modric, DJ Missy, DJ King and Rangers Marena. On the international acts there will be South African artistes such as Simmy, Sdala and Paige, Mma Ausi and Malome Vector who originates from Lesotho but is based in South Africa. Other international artistes include Sands from Swaziland, R3mnants from Zambia and DJ Otis Fraser from Zimbabwe. “We want to shake things up with a surprise headliner.
