The seventh annual Heavyweight International Comedy Festival was held last weekend at Masa Square Hotel bringing together comedians from all over Africa.

The comedy festival featured Botswana’s KLO, Roy, Thapelo Malani, South Sudan’s Akdans, Uganda’s Don Andre while Zimbabwe’s Clive Chigubu was the host.

As host, Chigubu proved to the audience why he is a multi-award winning comedian as he joked about everything that came to mind even though he came in now and then to introduce the different acts for the night.  The comedians’ work was made easy given the impressive attendance as they threw rapid-fire jabs and rib-cracking jokes.
