No train groove yet for Makgadikgadi Epic

While some people were hoping to experience another epic party on the train, organisers of the skydive event, Makgadikgadi Epic have revealed that they were currently considering the option but nothing has been concluded yet.

Recently, Toyota 1000km desert race revellers enjoyed a huge party on the train from Lobatse to Selebi Phikwe. 

But Botswana Tourism Organisation Acting Public Relations and Communication Manager, Samuel Lephalo said as of now he could not disclose the transport arrangements for the upcoming event because negotiations were still underway. However, he said they would much consider the matter in terms of reducing road accidents and traffic congestion. When Desert race enthusiasts boarded the BR passenger train for Phikwe lately, the turn of events was a welcome development for both stakeholders, the Botswana Railways and the public.
