Despite the negative hype about how bad and long the month of January is, Gaborone got to relive the festive moments as Nadia Nakai thrilled them with a beautiful performance at the Chez Nicolas Lounge Friday night.

Nadia once again proved that women do belong in the hip hop scene as she gave a show that will keep tongues wagging in 2017 and beyond. The evening started off on a high note with DJ JAM-N-I’s ecstatic performance,  which revitalised the audience, as he dished various IDM tracks. These included music by popular American artists. Controlla by Drake, got the audience all hyped up and dancing to the beats, while Work by Rihanna got most women in the house showing off their spectacular dance moves. The women were looking stunning and gorgeous as always. Everyone was dressed the part.

The show was particularly made to empower women in the rap scene. Nadia took the stage by storm when she performed her first single My Money Back, and the crowd went crazy and screamed in excitement.
