Mophato Dance Theatre did it again, delivering an electrifying performance with their latest musical, Thari, staged at the University of Botswana (UB).

This powerful tribute to women's resilience and strength was a fitting dedication to Women's Month, shedding light on the challenges women face and overcome. Thari, which translates to "woman is the pillar of the nation," was a raw and honest portrayal of Botswana women's experiences, told through music, dance, poetry and storytelling.

The show explored themes of social ills, chronic diseases, mental health, physical and emotional abuse, and women's empowerment, leaving the audience spellbound.
