Botswana’s very own Hosanna Gospel Singers have once again demonstrated their musical prowess with a successful live recording of their third album.

The event was held on Saturday at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) in Gaborone. It attracted gospel music lovers from across Botswana and beyond its borders, reflecting the group’s growing influence and popularity in the gospel music scene. Hosanna Gospel Singers continue to set trends and reshape the local gospel music landscape with their exceptional sound, energetic performances and powerful worship sessions. Their musical excellence and polished delivery were so impressive that an unsuspecting listener might easily have mistaken them for an international gospel outfit. The crowd, which turned out in large numbers, erupted with excitement when the group performed its popular song, Gaufi le Morena.

The performance created an electric atmosphere as fans sang along, turning the venue into a celebration of gospel music and faith. Other songs that further electrified the audience included Ka Lerato Le Le Kalo, Jeso Ke Morena and a song featuring the heartfelt words I Love You, Jesus. These performances kept the crowd engaged, with gospel lovers responding enthusiastically to the uplifting messages conveyed through the music. The evening took on an even more spiritual dimension when a South African gospel artist, known as Dr Tumi who had come to support the group, took to the stage. His presence brought another layer of excitement to the gathering as he performed his popular song, Father, We Thank You for the Things You Have Done for Us.
