Katundu releases love songs

Upcoming artist Katundu, real names Kelapile Motswaiso, has dropped his first album titled ‘Babe Love’. “All songs in this album are talking about loving each other and this album was recorded in Tlokweng.

It was produced by M. Squared Studios. I wrote all of my songs with the help of M.Squared, Dr Jones, and Chi Designer VIP," he told Arts & Culture in an interview. Katundu also explained that he was uses different languages such as Lingala, Shona, Kalanga, Setswana and English in his songs. He added that it is something that makes him stand out from other local artists.

Looking back, he said his love for Afro Rhumba music started at a tender age where he grew up listening to the genre and became fond of it. Katundu grew up at Matobola village and started his music career last year.
