Kanye will come alive with the second edition of the annual HEYANA Music Festival, set to take place on the 31st of December (Wednesday) at Mmakgodumo Gardens in Kanye.

A percentage of the proceeds from the event will be donated to 50 under privileged children in Kanye and neighboring villages .

One of the festival organisers, Fortunate Mongwaketse, mentioned that the two-day event will kick off on the 30th of December (Tuesday) with the HEYANA Charity Fun Day.

Mongwaketse indicated that the Charity Fun Day is a unique part of the festival aimed at giving back to the community. He explained that they will provide food hampers and school uniforms to 50 disadvantaged children in Kanye and nearby areas.


He noted that the Charity Fun Day will also include entertainment activities for children and traditional music.

Mongwaketse added that the main festival will be held on the 31st of December and will showcase a line-up of prominent local and international artists such as Boohle, Leehleza, Ditiro Leero, Swailaman just to mention a few
