Gospel festivals, a platform to share knowledge

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The organiser of Gospel Extravaganza concert, Kgomotso Magunga, has said that gospel festivals can be used as a platform to share knowledge on issues that affects people’s daily lives.

Magunga said in an interview that most people shun gospel festivals because they are alcohol-free. She said it was important for people, especially the youth, to attend gospel festivals in large numbers as they provide a platform to discuss issues that concerned their lives. She explained that gospel festivals could benefit non-Christians as well.

“Gospel festivals provide entertainment in a unique way because people mingle without having to consume alcohol,” she said.
