Gaborone has got talent

The last auditions for season nine of My Star music talent search show ended in style in Gaborone as contestants demonstrated good vocal skills and maturity in their performances.

Some contestants impressed the judges with their amazing talents while others left the crowd in stitches with dramatic performances. A wannabe who clearly did not possess any musical talent persuaded the judges to give him three chances yet on all occasions, he failed to get a single note right.

Compared to the previous week’s edition in Lobatse, the Gaborone auditions attracted a lot more individuals with good potential to turn into complete artists. There were a number of ‘returnees’ like Nomsa who not only convinced the fans of her maturity but made the judges sing her praises after a scintillating performance of Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman.
