Comedian revs up Boosta Bash night

If they tell you laughter is the best medicine, do not question the statement lest they prove it to you. Last Friday, the audience at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) was all up in stitches from South African stand-up comedian, Tsietsi Matlakala's jokes at the Boosta Bash Comedy Night.

For a show that started late, Matlakala managed to rev up the mood with his Sepedi narrated jokes and transform irritability to laughter.

From one punchline to the next, Matlakala showed his Botswana audience that he did not come second in the South African 'So You Think You Are Funny' in 2009 by default. His Sepedi did not deter him from engaging with the audience who managed to follow him quite perfectly without the need for interpretation.
