Man dies after being hit with a stone in Kopong

A 40-year-old man has died after he was hit on the head with a stone during a misunderstanding in Kopong in the early hours of Good Friday.

Mogoditshane Acting Police Station Commander, Assistant Superintendent Mompoloki Ramaphoi, confirmed the incident, stating that police received a report at around 3 am and responded swiftly.

“The injured man was rushed to Nkoyaphiri Clinic, where he was certified dead on arrival by the doctors," Ramaphoi said.
