The beautiful people of the city were dressed to impress with painted faces and some colourful feather costumes.

They came out to play with their loved ones at the Gaborone Main Mall on Saturday for the inaugural Heart of the City Carnival.

The newly paved Main Mall walkway stretching from the city arch to the British High Commission building proved to be a great location for a cool parade. The walkway was barricaded and then divided into three parts.
