Excitement is building up in Palapye as the town prepares to host the Stunner’s Birthday Spin & Chill, a unique event that combines the thrill of car spinning with vibrant community celebrations.

This year’s event, set for July 6, promises to be bigger and better, drawing enthusiasts from across Botswana and South Africa. Frank 'Stunner' Seremeng, the passionate founder and host of the event said his love for motorsport, particularly car spinning, is the driving force behind this initiative. “My dream is to see car spinning grow big in Palapye and Botswana,” he shared. Seremeng has been instrumental in nurturing this sport locally, having organised car spinning events since December 2022. He says the increasing attendance and enthusiasm for these events has motivated him to expand from an annual December event to include a winter spin session, marking his birthday with this special celebration.

Seremeng told Arts&Culture that the event will feature thrilling performances by local and international car spinners, including Team Sheriff, The General, King Joe, Bossphiri, Malamantsho, Vmud, Ronnie V8 and Stunner Bw himself. “Additionally, attendees will enjoy musical performances by Djs such as Tefo Bright, Ace De XklusiV, MoniQ D, and MC Becha, alongside DJs Kellz_bag, DJ Hakeem, and Deep Nation Deejays,” he added. He further stated that the Stunner’s Birthday Spin & Chill is not just about entertainment but it also plays a significant role in supporting the local economy.
